Physical movement is a foundation for health. Circulation, breath, balance, and muscle tone lead to healthy lives and staves off disease and discomfort. Not only are there physical benefits to moving our body, there many cognitive processes such as reasoning, memory, and attention that are activated when we are engaged in physical activity.
Mindsets are attitudes, assumptions, and beliefs that determine how we view the world. To have a flexible and agile mindset means we can be open to change and deal better with uncertainty. When we get stressed and stuck in life, we can improve our internal narratives, and therefore our energy, by creating movement in how we think about things. Reframing problems in ways that are actionable and help us move forward.
We are emotional beings. Allowing for the movement of the spectrum of emotions to move through us is the key to living well. When emotions are suppressed and not allowed to move within us, we start to behave in ways that don't serve us. We get tight and find it card to be open minded and objective when faced with obstacles. Movement of our emotions means finding and unraveling past tensions.
To us, movement spiritually is staying in tune with our evolution and purpose in life as things change and we have new lessons to learn. Finding our spark and purpose as it evolves throughout our life requires movement and stillness. Clarity comes from listening to our inner self. To stay stagnant spiritually is to feel cloudy, loose connection with your gifts which may lead to confusion, regret, and a longing for something else.
